Comments for Tom Robinson Band, THE WINTER OF 89

Band originally broke up in 1979. Reformed briefly in 1989 & made this album, hence title. Tracks recorded live as soundtrack to UK Central TV show "Bedrock" in 1990, polished up with studio postproduction and overdubs in 1991/2 by TR & engineer John Davis. Two illegal bootleg versions of this arecurrently around under the names:TOM ROBINSON "2-4-6-8 Motorway" and TOM ROBINSON "Power in the Darkness"Sleeves & track listings on these are crap, but at least the music`s the real real thing.
