Actually, the name of this album is Undertow

Firstly, there are 10 tracks. not eleven. So, move all the tracks up one position after track six. By the way, track eight is 4 degrees, not 40!

There are 9 designated tracks on the CD, with the tenth, Disgustipated, being track number 69. Undertow, along with Opiate, are must buys for any rocker. Tool has an uncanny sense in creating sheer anger and intensity in its lyrics and guitars.

I like 'em pretty good

This is absoloutley the best album of the year. It transcendes boundries of ALTERNATIVE BS and tells it like it is. FUCK YEAH!

Rools!

Intense to the last note. Keenan's vocals definately define the band. Danny Carrey is one of the best drummers in the genre. If you have a chance to see these guys live in a small venue, by all means do, you wont regret it if you make it out alive.

The best album Tool has released to date. Tracks that don't avoid the problems of society, they attack them.

I think that "Opiate" is better than "Undertow."

One of the most musically talented bands around. This album exemplifies what it means to do a good mix down. They break out of their 'Opiate' shell and jam some tough stuff!

This is the best album I have ever heard. It's long and it's dark. This is in no way alternative, it's death metal. If you listen to "Undertow" trying to go to sleep it will scare you to death. I love it.

The best album ever? In my opinion, yes. These guys make real music. Talent, skill, lyrics, vocals, groove, timing... It's all in there. Nine songs that beat the crap out of your soul. And the tenth (69th) is a really special bonus. If you like grunge, alternative, or any remotely emotional music, and don't mind things getting darker than black, then this is the album for you. Trust me.

I agree. This IS, without a doubt in my mind, the greatest album ever made. It's the real deal - everything I could possibly ask for in an album and then some. I've owned it for well over two and a half years now and it NEVER gets old. I only pray that the next album doesn't let me down.

great record. I particularly like the songs undertow (the bit where it slows down kills me every time), bottom (rollins does a great job) and prison sex. btw, their videos are very cool. does someone in the band have something to do with their production?
E-MAIL: mcday@hotmail.com
in answer to s325961, i think adam jones may help produce the videos. I read that he was involved in movies and special effects. I think the best songs are bottom and undertow, but any song off the CD eclipses everything done by other bands. What really makes the CD unique is all the weird stuff the band included. Try turning up the volume really high before intolerance and crawl away. Oh yeah don't forget about the cow picture.

Sometimes it''s hard to tell if the band is making a joke or making a deep and scary point. For example the art on all their albums, parts of their videos, the bonus tracks. Tool has a million levels of understanding to everything they do. The BEST band FUCKING EVER! And this is their best CD...it is less scary than AEnima and more rockin.
