Comments for Traffic, Shoot Out At the Fantasy Factory

Weakest Traffic studio LP of the 70s. but the title track and Wood's Tragic Magic are worth the price alone.

Has anyone else in the world besides me noticed that "Roll Right Stones" is faded out 2 minutes early on all versions (U.S. ones, anyway) of this album (CD included) except the very first edition? All these versions say it's 13:44 but it's really 11:44. "Uninspired" is one of my absolute least favorite Traffic songs, but I like the rest of the album & never tire of the title track.

Time signature at end of title track is best described as '17/4' (i.e., 4 + 4 + 4 + 5).

The time signature for the fade out on Roll Right Stones is a straight 4/4, 4 bar phrase. If you don''t believe me, just follow the sax line. Or just count, people!
Feel the time signature at the instrumental end of the song`Shoot Out` - I believe it`s 9/8. The Rollright Stones is ascenic area in England near where Steve Winwood and JimCapaldi grew up. And listen to the sheer desperation in thevocals of `Uninspired`.
