I heard Robin in Pittsburg two years ago playing all this new materal. His playing realy touches my soul. A year later 20 century blues hit. I love all his work.

THE MASTER!!! what more can you say? interesting note... he covers the blues standard "reconsider baby" on this cd. you can compare his version with clapton's, clapton covers the same tune on "from the cradle". i believe the two were released the same year.

Trower`s best work in 15 years. Trower, one of the 70`s guitar giants fell from the music scene in the early eighties and produced a number of fluffy over produced records. This CD released in June of 1994 was his first in 3 years. Robin returns to his roots. He is back in a three piece band fronted by Vocalist Livingstone Browne (Bass) and Mayuyu(Drummer). Robin`s guitar work burns with it`s traditioal Hendrix/SRV overtones. His playing sounds very fresh and the mood of the album evokes early Trower works.A definit 9 on a scale of 10!!!!
