***1/2 (5 star scale)-- The first album from these Irish dudes proved to be ground breaking for many bands thereafter. The Edge, much like Peter Buck 0f REM, introduced a whole new generation a different sound on the guitar. --J.teel

I challenge anyone to find a better first albumn. This was, like the group, way ahead of its time.

Before all the bullshit, U2 made some great albums. This is definately one of them.

"Boy" is one of U2''s best. "I Will Follow", "A Day Without Me", and "Shadows and Tall Trees" are really great. I don''t think and group has ever released a better first album. I''f you''re a U2 fanatic such as myself, Get this Album!
U2`s very first album. Quite unlike any other music of the time. Bono`s simple poetic lyrics and Edge`s utilisationof harmonics(along with Adam and Larry`s unique rhythm section)provide a most excellent recording for your listening pleasure.
