Comments for Various, Reggatta Mondatta

A fairly good album. It is not markedly different than the original songs, just enough to keep them fresh and different. They range quite a bit in tempo and style. Some are almost better than the originals, while some have much further to go. I found the Jazz/Regge insturmental version of `Wrapped Arround Your Finger` to be quite good. The artists featured are: Chaka Demus & pliers, Aswad, Pato Banton, Sting, Shinhead, Betty Wright, Ziggy Marley, Maxi Priest, Steel Pulse, Los Pericos, Sly & Robbie, Ambilique, Shiela Hylton, and Jazz Jamaica.
