Director Hugh Wooldridge did a large number of concerts at Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Center, Brooklyn Academie of Music and others. A Lucky CD for everyone who participated and that is well deserved. This album is a recording of a gala concert held in honor of Harold Prince,director and producer of a multitude of Broadway and London blockbuster musicals. Songs include selections from a number of productions he hasdirected, including "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "West Side Story," "Fiddler on the Roof," "Cabaret," "Candide," "Kiss ofthe Spider Woman," "She Loves Me," "Evita," "Pacific Overtures," "SweeneyTodd," "Follies," "A Little Night Music," "The Phantom of the Opera,"the revival of "Show Boat," and "Company." The concert took place in Munich on October 29, 1995.
