Comments for Velocity Girl, ¡Simpatico!

This second album by Velocity Girl on Subpop is quite a bit different from _Copacetic_ in that the production is intentionally better, and the album comes off with more of a power pop sound. You might also want to check out an earlier Velocity Girl release, _6 Song compilation_ on Slumberland Records. It has songs sung by both current singer Sarah Shannon as well as by the current Air Miami vocalist.

Indeed this effort by velocity girl is different than copacetic in that the band has departed somewhat from the droned out pop pop and moved toward a catchier, straight forward sound. Great album!

This is a great album, however, I think that their new one is better! Catch them in concert if you can! They are great!
