This is the best album I've ever heard. Every song is wonderful. There isn't one bad moment. The songs are so beautifuly writen and the performed. "Candy Says" is a total masterpeice, along with the "Pale Blue Eyes", "What Goes On" and "Some Kind of Love". Go out and buy this album right away. Your heart will never be the same.

It's true...after hearing the Velvets, I went and became a musician. This album is their best. No need to list reasons why, just listen to it. So what if Doug Yule replaced John Cale? His singing on "Candy Says" is perfect. My faves are "Some Kinda Love", "What Goes On", and "That's The Story Of My Life". Be sure to check out the "closet version" of this album in the Velvets' boxed set Peel Slowly And See. Remarkable.

This is the best VU album ever. The Peel Slowly and See boxed set version is awesome. "Pale Blue Eyes," "I''m Beginning to See the Light," "That''s The Story of My Life" are especially excellent. Hearing Mo Tucker sing "Afterhours" is terrific. This album could make up half of a Velvet Underground tribute album, and it probably will, if it hasn''t already.
Classic Velvet Underground - Great.!!!
I ONLY WANT TO SAY ONE THING ¿ CONTAINS THIS ALBUM ONE SOLO LIKE STEVE HUNTER'S DICK WAGNER ON SWEET JANE IN ROCK N' ROLL ANIMAL? NO. fORGET IT
