Comments for Voivod, The Outer Limits

great stuff.A bit complex at times but not as complex as their previous ones.They even had some "hits" in this,but of course don't expect them to make Billboard charts its still Voivod.

mind blowing rock 'n roll. worth it for "fix my heart" all by itself. and who else puts 17-minute songs on albums these days?

This one is kind of commercial , and conventional at times but as some fabulous parts.

Some good moments, but fairly uneven, and overall pretty boring. Not particularly complex, just standard rock with some prog elements. Guitar tones are still Voivod, but not as original or unique as previous albums. This is a long way from the brilliance of albums like Nothingface.

The Outer Limits is definitely Voivod's most "commercial" album with some great voivod-ish parts and some rather bland rock filler parts - it's decent though.
