Comments for Voivod, NegatronA new lead singer in Eric Forrest is introduced on this album. This one heads back into heavier, more aggressiveterritory of the early albums. The heaviness of KillingTechnology, the aggressiveness of War and Pain and RRROOOAAARRR and the sci-fi of Angel Rat and the Outer Limits. Truly all the best qualities of Voivod in onepackage. Maybe my favorite album from Voivod-- they definitely hit their artistic peak in the late 80's, but I like just like this one. Riffs are good, occasionally brilliant, nothing mind-blowing-- but with such an original sound. Bass could be a little stronger, could do without the hard-core influences, but still a great album.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
