Comments for Vulgar Boatmen, You and Your Sister

E-MAIL: kraus007@galactose.mc.duke.edu
This is a fantastic album, a welcome addition to any collection. It is somewhat difficult to find. I originally had to write to Robert Ray (the guitarist, singer, songwriter) to get it, but have since seen it in many stores (mainly independents). Rock and roll, pure and simple.

If anyone has figured out all the words to "Margaret Says" and "You and Your Sister," I'd really appreciate hearing from you!

An incredible album. If it's true only 2,000 exist, then I'm glad I bought mine in 1990. On vinyl, no less.

A finely crafted album, although it seems effortless. Every note is the right note. There live shows are not to be missed. If you live in the midwest I would be happy to keep you up to date on the latest Boatmen shows.

Actually, I have this album on vinyl and (shameful, I know) have not LISTENED to it since, gosh, 1992? Last time I had a turntable? I'm finally getting around to getting this on CD. After listening to a few snippets of the songs on the 'Net, I can't believe it's taken me this long. This is a FANTASTIC album.
Overall, a pretty good album, but very hard to find

A true desert island disc. Cry Real Tears and Drive Somewhere are tow of the best rock songs ever written.
