Great album. `Powers that be' & `Who needs information' far outshine any attempt by the Waterless Floyd group.

Definitely Waters' weakest solo effort. The music sounds dated, and the concept is preposterous. However, the production (as usual) is very good, and the way the last few songs progress (Home, Four Minutes, The Tide is Turning) is very theatrical. Too bad the first half of the album doesn't compare.

Roger Waters keeps wining about how alienated he feels towards audiences and live performances which he disapproves of. If that is so, then why are there several million copies of each of his albums floating around the world? Does he need reach out to that many people? Or, maybe he thinks that several million is ok because it's a small amount compared to billions? All he ever cares about is making more and more money. I hate this kind of attitude.

A very dull recording. Waters lacks the musicality of the remaining Pink Floyd members which I feel is necessary in order to convey the emotion of his lyrics in convincing fashion.
Good overview of the western communications.Very profound music with excellent message.
