Wow! A fun, happy, sad release from Dar Williams. I just love the Iowa song. All the songs are great. This CD has a little more backup than her first one ie. backing vocals, more musicians etc. I think it really adds to her style of simplicity to have a littl ebit of this. See her live to really appreciate her.

As many times as I listen to this cd, I always find something new to marvel at. Who else would''ve thought to write a song like "The Blessings," about your "significant other" storming out at 3:00 a.m. and needing to talk to someone but having not being able to reach anyone but someone you''re not particularly close to-- I''ve experienced it; we''ve all experienced it but who would have thougt to write a song about it? incredible!!
