Comments for Benatar, Pat, Get Nervous

this album was telling of her desire and courage to breakthrough her basic pop sound it is stil pop but she is challenging her sound with clever lyricks and electronic keyboards the title track is almost low ground high arch rock fussion of tecno and emotion (clever?) well any way i love this album it was starting to reach an avant guarde feeling but stayed very pop she reached it with Fight It Out Silent Partner''s beginning was almost there vocally but she went the other way The Victim is hard edged and I''ll do it, Tell it to Her, I Want Out are very classic rock all tree lined up in order im very impressed with this album one of my faves to this day
It is not the best album of Pat Benatar. The equalization enhances hign frequencies, and the musical instruments andthe voices are not so well separated. Exept these problems, the music is Ok. This LP is not as rock as "In the heat of the time", or "Precious time", and there are some more `cool`pieces : "Fight it out", "I`ll do it", "Tell it to her".These parts of the records are an anticipation of the"Tropico" record (which is the best of Pat Benatarfrom my point of view!).
