There is no song on this album which is unlistenable.

Excellent CD, are they still together?

A very satisfying album in my opinion. Sure it's crude and lewd in spots, but it's got, well, more "soul" than most slacker rock musicians could ever hope for. Nice use of mellotron sounds give much of this album a retro spin. "Crashing Back to You" is destined to be a classic that nobody ever heard.

No Souls No Strain was the last of Wire Train''s studio albums. Agreeing with one of the earlier points, no part of this album is unlistenable. As they managed to achieve throughout most of their career the album was groun breaking but sorely over looked by the record buying public. They album received rave reviews in the press. Of those interested manyof the members of the band now appear to work as L.A. session men, perhaps the most notable being Jeff Trott who has recently co-written the new Sheryl Crow album.
Patchy, disappointing album, but worth owning for the fouror so non-"SINGLE", non-forced songs. Some of it is great(a la "Wire Train", their previous effort), some of it isunlistenable.
