Comments for XTC, Black Sea

i'm surprised that there's no comments to this, XTC's magnum opus. though only their 4th US release, this is easily their best effort, not only in song composition, but in engineering, production, etc. any feedback?

In total agreement with above comment. Black Sea is the best effort by the best pop band of the late '70s / early '80's -- the Swindon Beatles. Although classified as 'rock', remember, THIS IS POP! (Are you receiving me?)

That's right! One of the best pop albums of all-time. Even Take That or Boyzone fans might like this (as well as people who know something about music).

best guitar sound I've ever heard on a Pop Album.

The drums on this album made me want to be a drummer when I was in highschool. I also remember the cool album wrapping and the band members with there deep sea diving gear on. all these memories make me want to get my old highschool job washing dishes back again and...well the album wasn''t that good. But it was good.

Compact Disc Contains 3 Additional Tracks Not On Original LP

Arguably the best XTC album ever. Up there with Skylarking. Sounds great on CD w/ bonus tracks!
