Excellent album. I heard songs from it live by the lead singer (Joe) at the Whole Earth Festival in Davis, CA. There I bought the tape and I've been hooked as a Xeno fan ever since! Great folk/rock music and excellent playing ability by all the members!! Find it, buy it.

Intelligent, insightful lyrics backed by solid and intricately orchestrated music. A little folk, a bit of rock, a subtle hint of craziness, and an excellent sense of humor. Live or on tape, they never cease to amaze me with their acoustic sound.

This stuff is very good stuff, you know. Unless you like RAP or something. Then forget it, these folks ain't be rappin and don't ax em to. If you like music at all, check out Xenophilia. That's what I say. I'm a doctor of phychiatry and I think this band can actually help keep you sane. Works for me. - Dr. Biek

Xenophilia is definitely one of those relax-with-pint-in-hand-at-the-local-pub OR kick-it-at-the-festival kinds of bands. So, when you listen to the tape at home, you can imagine yourself to be in all the places you like being. Hmmm, maybe I''m just saying that because it''s been too ding dang long since I''ve heard them play live. Good, intelligent, moving music. (Fear Of Success is my personal favorite.) I can''t wait for the CD!
Incredible!! Excellent original folk rock. The lyricsare pure poetry, carefully crafted, and the melodiesare very catchy but original. Like an acoustic XTC. Avaliable at: PO Box 72211, Davis, CA 95617 for $5 +S&H.
