Released under the name Clan of Xymox. The group didn't change their name to Xymox until the release of their Twist of Shadows album.

This is very good(musically, lyrically, and everything is just perfect. -although it wasn't a digital recording;> like their first album although the sound is still primative it's more polished and even better!!!!! another must have for any one interested in good music! (this album may be hard to find like the rest of Xymox's album-due to the lack of American's interest in good none popish music! heheh sad but true!

Un album incroyable. Les voix des chateurs sont douces et envoutantes. C'est un MUST. Particulierement, les Themes et Louise sont l'enfer. C'est planant. En importation seulement en Amerique.

If you buy ANY Xymox album - get this one...They have changed so much it's hard to compare to the new stuff. Any goth would love it

A beautiful album where dark dance music melds easily with solemn instrumentals.Medusa is a work of art from start to finish with it''s ranges of high intense drum beats and emotional lyrics to it''s quiet and muffled bass lines and whispering sighs. The vocals by Ronny and Anke are smooth and extrodinary, but can also become entrenched with dymanic lyrical inovations, only adding to the magical feel of this impeccable piece of music.Once this album begins you are taken in by what can only be described as pure brilliance in the expression of sound.I honestly feel that this is one of the best darkwave albums EVER made...(If there was any way for me to label such an album!)
