Comments for Zappa, Frank, Freak Out!

E-MAIL: cfinkle@yorku.ca
Freak Out is one of the best early albums of all time. Also to be known as the first double in rock history. The first time I heard this album I mainly listened to Wowie Zowie (Classic), You didn't try to call me, anway the windblows and Hungry Freaks Daddy. I borrowed this album and after hearing songs like 'Your Probably Wondering why I'm Here" and "Who are the brain police". This album is one of the gretest album of the 60's. A quote from Paul Mcartney during recording Sgt. Pepper "This is our Freak Out". From a famous beatle book I lost. **** Jeremy Finkelstein P.S. If any agreements or disagreements write back

This is a great album. It was one of the first albums my dad bought he told me he got it for $.75 and he got every Mothers album that followed now I started buying them when a friend of my dad's let me borrow 'We're Only in it for the Money'.This album is great.

I had a Freak Out sticker on my skateboard in seventh grade. All the kids in my class thought I wuz weird, and they were right. My friends (2) and I thought this was amongst the best music we had ever heard, and knew every word, utterance, and musical absurdity by heart. Frank Zappa tought us to observe society and it''s strange rituals, and how important it is to be informed of what actually happens around us. But most importantly, to be involved enough to make a positive difference. This is more than damn good music, it is a manifesto!
Rocks first double album. Compared to anything else released in 1965, this was an amazing collage of doo-wop, rock and experimental music. Sort of past meets the present and predicts the future. This one must have scared a lot of parents who stumbled upon it in their kid`s bedrooms. Mastered to a single CD in 1985.
