if i had to recommend an album to begin listening to zappa and understanding him i would recommend this album, no doubt about it... it has everything. Very complete band, nice songs, nice sound, nice package, nice year... the brass section is superb and makes it so rich musically. Terry Bozzio, Adrian Belew, Eddie Jobson, Patrick O'Hearn, Brecker Brothers, Ruth Underwood... and THE GREAT DON PARDO. This album is a nice one to get started in Zappa
