Maybe "Take My Breath Away" is the best song of Berlin. E-Mail : zhaozm@baijuyi.ncu.edu.tw

It figures, doesn't it--the only Berlin song which I absolutely cannot tolerate without spewing is of course the band's biggest hit. And why can't you get Berlin albums in the Netherlands? Are they banned or something? No permanent address, I'm still an Internet homeless.

Bernie -- Terri Nunn released an album entitled "Moment of Truth"

Where's Terri Nunn? She is fronting a new band, SIN CITY, a loud, fast bad ass proto-punk band (with a freaked out psycho-billy look!) in Los Angeles. They're headlining the Buzzard Fest in Cleveland on May 18, 1996 with No Doubt and Candlebox and they got a record coming out August 1, 1996 on RUMBLE KULTURE RECORDS. I've seen the warm up dates at the Martini Lounge, and they are tough! Berlin fans will love it!

Just saw the new Berlin line-up last night and was I ever impressed! Terri's voice sounds stronger now live than it did on the studio albums! They literally thrashed through 'Metro' with some heavy-chord guitar, making it sound new. The new song, 'Medication' also sounds great, though I don't know what kind of airplay it'll get these days. They played at Hollywood's The Palace, BTW. Terri looked thrilled to be jamming in front of an audience again -- and even said so. -- Robb

We just saw the "New Berlin" last week (9/24/96) in San Ramon, California (Bay Area). Terri was just great, getting really into the audience, and the audience into her. Terri mentioned what she had been doing the last few years, and said that Berlin was working on a new album. Berlin played some of their new material mixed with the wonderful old stuff, and it was just great. Can't wait to purchase it. Terri also mentioned that she came out with an album called "Moment of Truth" in 1991, but I have not been able to locate it so far. If you get a chance to see the new Berlin, go for it -- they were great! The drummer and keyboardist really worked well with Terri and were some of the best I had seen in a long time. John Crawford was sorely missed. Terri even gave me a signed poster that looked a little like her, but she really looked great wearing a sexy high-cut dress. As a last note, does anyone know how to get a hold of Terri? I can't locate her on the Net, but I believe she still lives in L.A. -- Mark (lowen@ix.netcom.com)

Years back, there was a faster "remixed" version of "Take My Breath Away" produced. I have been searching for it but have never seen it anywhere? Does anyone know if this remixed version is available for purchase? If so, from where?

I dont see any ''comment'' dates, so I''m not sure whether any of you have found more ''Berlin/Terri Nunn'' Cds/Lps/7" etc. I got my Terri Nunn ''Moment of Truth'' from Esprit Mail order, in the UK, as well as Virgin for the ''Best Of''. Esprit also have a small stock of singles etc, and I got the ''Sampler'', and ''89 Lines'', ''Let me be the one'' promos. They also had the ''Take My Breath Away'' remix last year, it was out of stock by the time I saw the advert, AAAAArgh! This appreared to be a ''Dakeyne''? Remix of 1990/91?, I''m unsure as I cant find the advert at present. To contact Esprit, see their website at: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/esprit/ The E Mail is ''esprit@compuserve.com'' (US Esprit are in Seattle) I have the homepage in my ''favourites'' and check every couple of days, and download their entire catalog (1MB) or ''updates'', although the server can be down quite often. Be warned, they are not cheap, but I find them first class. There are quite a few US stores selling Berlin Cds, a lot cheaper, as per the web. I got ''Count Three'' as one of my first CDs to replace my record collection in 1992, followed by the ''Best Of'' which had me searching for the remaining Cds, some of which were in the shops not that long ago. I will be looking out for new material when released, so far ''Count Three'' is my favourite. See ''RJAs'' pages, they are excellent. Douglas Martin, 08/04/97
