This is the second album from 1927, the first, now deleted from US catalogs was a major hit in Australia and Europe. The band was formed from the remains of the early 80's one-hit wonder group Moving Pictures who had a worldwide hit with the song "What about me"

I am searching for information on this band, which was a favourite of mine when I was young. If anybody has any info, I'd be very happy if they could forward details to the above address. Thankyou!

Good to see 1927 back after all this time. Saw them last night at a gig in Hurstville. Brought back many memories. Considering 6 years ago hardly anyone was going to see them. It was a good turn out. Surprised the heck out of me after the last time I saw them. I am pleased for Eric as his solo career never took off. When we went to see him play there was only us sitting with his wife Sam and some locals at places like The Zoo at Long Jetty. Would have liked to seen Dave back up onstage he was in the crowd last night. And Philip Campbell should have been there too. Sadly missed. The band were good last night. Bill was back too. Good to see he hasn''t changed much. Eric well he seems to be reliving his punk days. lol...The songs were alot rockier. They did tracks from all 3 albums and noticed that my friend and I seemed to be the only ones who knew the words to the tracks from the 3rd album. :p This album was a good one but 1927s 3rd album was by far the best overall. More rock/funk. Will be interesting to see if we get any new stuff from 1927.

I must be the one South African who has heard of and loves this band. Does anyone know where I can download the tracks?
