Comments for Browne, Jackson, Running On Empty

E-MAIL: LD50@WEBTV.NET
THIS IS AN AWESOME ALBUM. NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS SATURATE BEFORE USING, BUT STILL AN EASY TEN. ROSIE HAS TO BE THE MOST SUBTLE SONG EVER WRITTEN ABOUT AUTO-EROTICISM, AND OF COURSE WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE TITLE TRACK EXCEPT WOW.

I have been a Jackson Browne-fan for many years. But listening to this album now, I think it''s absolute shit. JB really feels sorry for himself having to go on the road and things like that. Well, easy enough: stay at home. The "Cocaine"-song is the silliest recording in his repertoire. The album is just one of those 70''s nightmares. When I have to choose his best album, it will always be a choice between "The Pretender" and "Hold Out". Sorry if this is your favourite, I just have the feeling that everybody always thinks he or she HAS to say that "Running on Empty" is such a good album.
