Comments for Bachman Turner Overdrive, Four Wheel DriveE-MAIL: palmert@hqamc.safb.af.mil According the the booklet that comes with the 2-CD Anthology set, this album was considered a failure by the band and contributed to its downfall, despite the fact the group produced at least six more albums that included a number of lineup changes. I felt it was a solid followup to the mega smash "Not Fragile." Also, would like to know if there are any sites on the WWW or Internet that contains lyrics to BTO songs. I have found three or four, but they only list "Takin' Care of Business," and "You Ain't Seen Nothin Yet." ThanksE-MAIL: William403@aol.com While this album may have not produced a lot of hit singles, (Hey You, being the only one), I still enjoy listening to this one as it has all the elements of good hard rock n' roll.E-MAIL: elwiii@ix.netcom.com Four Wheel Drive was a good follow-up album to Not Fragile. Anything that would've followed Not Fragile would've had a hard time sales wise because of the success of Not Fragile. Four Wheel Drive is solid, heavy bass, good rock 'n' roll. After hearing bands today I long for BTO again.....E-MAIL: dlindsey@otc.ozarka.tec.ar.us Okay, it's not as great an album as "Not Fragile," but what is? Still, the title track and "Flat Broke Love" are two of my favorite BTO tunes.E-MAIL: Gbpb1985@aol.com I''ve often heard that Four Wheel Drive was not considered a good album, by critics as well as the band itself. I never understood that. I listened (and still listen) to it more than any other, including Not Fragile. Favorite songs on the album are "She''s A Devil," "Quick Change Artisit," and "Lowland Fling." I have also been searching for lyrics to all of BTO''s songs with no success. Wonder why they are so hard to find.luv2rocknroll@yahoo.com four wheel drive great LP like it a lot but having a hard time finding it on cd HELP if you can .
