This album marks Big Country's return to the US since their Peace in our Time release. A return to their origins, in particular a more hard-edged sound ie. electric guitars screaming and percussions.

A much better album than No Place Like Home - proof that the boys hadn''t lost it. Re-jigged "We''re not in Kansas" and "Ships" are both taken from No Place Like Home - the former is beyond saving, while the latter was better first time round. Other than those two, however, an excellent album.
