Comments for Guthrie, Arlo, Hobo's Lullabye

I like this album better than Alice''s Restaurant. My parents used to play it alot when I was growing up. i only have it on record, but might buy it on CD at some point despite the length. The music is worth it.

An enjoyable little album, but considering how much waste vinyl there is on my copy, if you pay for a CD of this album alone, you`ve been ripped off. Arlo`s cover of Dylan`s "When the Ship Comes In" is great--I like it more than Peter, Paul, and Mary`s, but a little less then Dylan`s original. The original Arlo content here is rather limited--only tracks 9 and 10 are originals. 1913 Massacre is a great cover of his father Woody`s powerful protest against corrupt big-business.
