Comments for Phair, Liz, Whip-Smart

I was a bit disappointed with this album. Exile in Guyville is ten times better than this.

The second Liz Phair album might not be as catchy or as accessible as her first, but I can't decide which is better. _Whip-Smart_ is gorgeous, perhaps more mature at times, more reflective, than _Exile in Guyville_. I love it.

Not as accessible or catchy as Exile? It's more accessible and catchy! Evryone who says this album isn't any good and pales in comparison to Exile In Guyville is full of shit. This is the better of the two. Not a bad song at all. Yeah it's not as angry as Exile, but it is fun, and it's still just as tough.

I totally agree with this being more accessible and catchy. I love Whip-Smart almost as much as I love Exile, and whenever I introduce someone to Liz, I recommend they hear Whip-Smart first.
