Comments for Vernon, Nan, Manta Ray

Nan Vernon submitted a track for the compilation album "Shots In The Dark--A Bob Keane Production" released approximately April, 1996 on Del-Fi Records (DOCD 2113). It is the last track on this mainly surfadelia-meets-lounge music sampler. It is a short version of "Moon River" purposely recorded lo-fi with an Optigan and her absolutely wonderful wistful retro-compelling voice. A real tearjerker in a very stirring, mystical way.
