Comments for Badfinger, The Best OF BADFINGERE-MAIL: november@enter.net This compilation of Badfinger songs contains the standards that made this band famous. Also included are a few songs that make the band british, but that's a plus.E-MAIL: RSCom@juno.com This is an ok album. I met Joey Molland in Chicago at Beatlefest '96. I always liked BADFINGER, but now I have a new appreciation for their music.E-MAIL: jawlaw@iglou.com E-MAIL: jawlaw@iglou.com Its hard to be critical of any of the songs on this album. However, its easy to be critical of the fact that so many great Badfinger works were omitted. How can an album be the "best of" when songs such as "We're for the Dark" and "Sometimes" are omitted. The only way to own the best of Badfinger is to own all of their albums. They're that good.E-MAIL: MOOSE1 Paul McCartney wrote Day after Day, he had to. It sounds just like all his other songs. Believe it.E-MAIL: marcus99@msn.com I'll agree that much of Badfinger's music is influenced by the Beatles and McCartney in particular. However, I'd never mistaken "Day After Day" for a McCartney song.E-MAIL: usa Why is "Dear Angie" on this "Best of..."? Excellent compilation of one of Apple`s (The Beatles) greatest finds.Comments supplied by users do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Roadkill Consulting, Inc. |
