Comments for McCartney, Paul, Young Boy (Single)

E-MAIL: Heather
i can hardly wait for this new album!!
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Neither can I. The "Flaming Pie" website says that it's out may the 5th. Have you heard the song yet ??????
E-MAIL: Heather
No! and it's driving me crazy!
E-MAIL: john.com
I want to buy all of Yoko's stuff first :->
E-MAIL: Heather
what stuff does Yoko have? and i thought i saw you say that you didn't care too much for her anyway. could have been someone else though.
E-MAIL: john.com
No, I'm not crazy about her 1980's stuff - but she did some stuff (with and without John) that makes "Revolution 9" sound like "Yesterday."
E-MAIL: john.com
I like her anyway - I keep defending her on these pages.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
OK, as a person Yoko seems alright, but she didn't make good music. And even if she did she would never be anything compared to Paul.
E-MAIL: john.com
Bottom line is, it's all personal opinion.
E-MAIL: Heather
yes, that's it exactly. i think Paul is great, you think he's a prick, Johnny. i think Yoko is boring. you think, um, well, i don't know what you think. we are polar Beatles fans. and by the way, was that a jab at "yesterday"? i hope it wasn't...
E-MAIL: Heather
i also agree with what Spiderman said.
E-MAIL: john.com
No, I like Yesterday - he had alot of great songs with the Beatles when he had to keep up a great standard level with the others - it's his solo career that I think is boring.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
From what I have heard this album is going to be something extra, his best since "Band On The Run" I have read some ratings on the record and it gets 4 of 5 in just about every swedish paper. So I suggest you give this a shot, Johnny .
E-MAIL: Heather
i know i will! but i still want to know what that "yesterday" comment up there meant, Johnny.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Hey, Heather, have you heard the song yet ????????????? The album is out in Sweden, by the way. I'm trying to persuade my mother into buying it, since I can't afford it myself.
E-MAIL: Heather
i have not heard it yet! grrrr! anyhow, i don't know if it's out over here yet because i haven't gone to the music store this week. oh, but i will! and tell your mom that your internet friend says she needs to buy it for you right away!: )

intersting thing here in the u.s. is that the first single from flaming pie is "the world tonight". the other song is titled "looking for you" which is only okay. the last track is a fun collage style track(s) called "oobu joobu". among the tracks is a song "i love this house" which is very electronic and paul talking over an instrumental track about the origins of young boy and whatnot. as for "the world tonight", it's not bad but not up to the hype either. i'm not a very big fan of jeff lynn's production style. sounds too much like the traveling wilbury's. the song comes out in the film "father's day" with robin williams and billy crystal. shrug can't wait for the album!
E-MAIL: john.com
I agree with you - I'm sick of Jeff Lynne as a producer - he tries to make everyone sound like ELO. Also, listen to the Wilbury's "Handle With Care," George's "Poor Little Girl,""Cheer Down,""When We Was Fab" Tom Petty's "Won't Back Down," and Roy Orbison's "Anything You Want." The drum beat is exactly the same - is it a programmed drum machine or did someone record a reusable generic drumtrack?
E-MAIL: Heather
poor john has been ignored.
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Poor John. That's what you get for whining about Paul all the time.
E-MAIL: john.com
There's nothing more infuriating than 2 smart-asses :->
E-MAIL: shrug
E-MAIL: Spiderman
Well, like i said, just stop whining about Paul and atleast I will be satisfied
My mother recieved this as a birthdaypresent yesterday.Paul sings lead, and plays drums, bass guitar, acoustic guitarand Hammond organ on "Young Boy". On the other song, thatactually is better than "young Boy", Ringo plays drums andcongas. From the soon to be released album "Flaming Pie".
