Comments for McCartney, Paul, Wings Greatest

A pretty good basic collection. It's all the solo Paul you really need to own.

a solid collection that contains the required glaring omission, in this case it was "listen to what the man said". on the plus side though there are goodies here like "hi hi hi" a great, simple rock tune, as well as the his huge european hit "mull of kintyre". since his beatle days mccartney always had an affection for releasing singles, and as a soloist he had a few great ones, that are captured in this greatest hits collection. "another day" is such a great song, very similar to his late beatles stuff, very honest in it''s approach. "live and let die" was grandiose mccartney, and yet another killer tune. "junior''s farm" is straight rocker that only serves to show mccartney was not the wimp he was accused of being. a good collection, but the truth is that a box set with all his goodies would be better. shrug.
Although it`s criminally missing "Listen To What The Man Said," this is a better greatest hits package because it has none of his 1980`s stuff.
