One of the rare times that a live version of a band's music sounds better than the studio version. "Save My Life" and "Jefftown Creek" really rock!

Is there any chance that any Head East albums will be release as CD's?

Is there any way to get a copy (album or cassette) of the HeadEast Live album?

Head East Live!! is right up there with Frampton Comes Alive and Kiss Alive I and II. I really hope this albumn is soon released on cd.

One of the all-time greatest live albums! But why wasn't a studio version of "It's For You" ever released? Or was it a "B Side" from one of the singles?

The song " i'ts for you" is a cover of a Three Dog Night song and not on any Head East studio albums. I to love this album and would pay anything for a cd if it exist. If anyone knows if it's available please let me know.

I still have "Live" & "Gettin' Lucky" on cassette. If we all e-mail A&M, maybe we can get them released on CD format. We did it on the White Witch web page, Capricorn Records, has released theirs. If you go to GEMM you can find all the Head East albums used & a few on CD. I want Gettin Lucky & Head East on CD.I just found out tonite,4/23/99 that Michael Somerville has rejoined the band with Roger Boyd & John Schlitt !!!! Watch for tour dates, a new release, lets hope. Head East Live is THE quientessential live album!! With no top 40 hits, they prove their longevity by still touring and still kicking ass!! I manage a band that has done many shows with them and as far as I know, John Schlitt is not back with them, however Mike Sommerville has been back for quite some time now....2 - 3 yrs, I believe. Great band, great live album, and all-in-all, a great bunch of guys.
