Comments for Television, Television

Not the place to start. I was disappointed with this at the time. (Though in live performance they were GREAT). It needs more low end in the music generally. But there are great moments like "Beauty Trip" and the Pere Ubu imitation on "Mars". Welcome back guys and please keep working together.

What is the deal with Richard Hell. Was he on the first Television album or what. I saw the R and R documentary on PBS and it said Richard Hell, Television. I can't find that Album anywhere if it exists.

Richard Hell was a member of the Neon Boys which became Television, and was long gone by the time of the first album. He was replaced by Fred Smith from Blondie. There was a single released with Hell under the Neon Boys moniker, which had a version of "Time" recorded later with Hells own band the Voidoids.
