A great followup to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. All the songs are simply incredible.

Agreed. A more excellent album, full of energy.

symptom of the universe kicks ass, sepultura has a cool remix on the sabbath tribute album.

Sabbath's best!

This nearly ranks with "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". The coupling of "Don't Start" and "Symptom" is maybe the one that defines this album, a classical guitar intro leads into an ultra-heavy riff, which melts down into a rhythmic acoustic groove. And "The Writ" may be Sabbath's scariest moment. Classic!

Duh........better listen to Sabotage by the Beastie Boys.

Sadly, Sabotage became Black Sabbath's last great performance by the original lineup of Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler and every song on this album is a classic with the exception of Am I Going Insane and Don't Start Too Late, the classics are the heavy rockers Hole in the Sky and Symptom of the Universe, the epics of Megalomania and Writ, and the midtempo rocker Thrill of it All.
