A double album from one of the more famous blaxploitation flicks of the same title, Shaft contains typical period background music for the most part. However, "Theme From Shaft" is first-rate, and it not only was a big hit, but its proto-disco leanings were a forerunner of things yet to come. Previously released as ENS-2-5002. Shaft is now available on a single CD.
