The growth demonstrated on this album is unreal! Til' Tuesday sounds like a totally different band. Maybe their first producer just really sucked!

Aimee Mann comes into her own as a song writer.

Wow. Perhaps one of my favorite albums for TEN years now. I just don't get tired of it. There aren't many albums I can say that about.

"Coming Up Close" and "No One is Watching You Now" are both excellent songs that make the most of Aimee Mann's fine songwriting as well as her melodic and beautifully sad vocals. By the way, did anyone get the compilation "Coming Up Close: A Retrospective" which supposedly came out on Sept. 24? No one in my city seems to carry it. Jer

This is the best Til Tuesday album, and still the best thing Aimee has ever done, and I say that knowing I'm With Stupid is excellent. Almost totally solid, this album is one of the best I've heard from anyone.

This just is the best album of all time. Brilliant start with "What About love" and it just gets better and better and better. I bought it in 86 and I'm still PLAYING IT LOUD.

"Coming Up Close" is one of my favorite songs. I've heard it over 1000 times and it never fails to provoke emotions and angst inside me. I listen to some other 'Til Tuesday songs when I write.

Just a beautiful record all the way and I totally agree with the other peoples comments. Very moving ,right to the heart.

I agree. The pairing of the right producer with a band at the right time where they could proceed unencumbered by those meddlesome record execs.

This album got me through a depression, a divorce, a battle with alcohol, and showed me the real truth about being a lover.

I also think that this album is one of the best albums ever. It ranks up there with Floyd''s "Dark Side of the Moon" and Santana''s "Abraxas" as the best albums.
