Even if you're not a Cheap Trick or Robin Zander fan, you should listen to this. Zander works with an amazing team including Jimmy Iovine, the Heartbreakers, Don Felder, and just about every other musical celebrity. I think this is probably one of the most underrated and unfairly unnoticed albums ever, and certainly one of the best.

I have a copy of this and it has been eaten by my tape player. Where can I get a CD? Please help. Robins Biggest Fan, Trasey

The first few times I listened to the CD, I was a little disappointed, even though I am a huge Cheap Trick/Robin Zander fan, and put it back on the shelf. I recently listened to it again and now cannot get enough of it. I just play it over and over again in my car. I agree it is HIGHLY underrated!

Robin Zander has been my favorite male artist since Lap Of Luxury when I first started to listen to Cheap Trick. His voice is amazing, and this album definitely show it off. I LOVED this album, because as much as I love Cheap Trick, the songs of theirs that I always prefered more were their more POP-like, softer songs, rather than their hard. older music. I think this is why I liked it so much, because it combined that style of music, with the voice of Robin Zander. So, if you think like me in that respect, you're sure to love the album. Personally,, I love Walkin Shoes the best. The words alone are a poem... ENJOY!

This album is incredible. It's definitely not Cheap Trick, but it IS Robin Zander and it really showcases his voice.

"Walkin' Shoes" is the greatest song ever recorded!!! The whole CD is GREAT!!

This album was hugely overlooked..........actuallt have spoken with Robin personally about it.......there were over 35 songs recorded for it....some even written with Paul Westerberg which never saw the light......every song is a gem on this record....

Robin's first solo effort is incredible! His folk background in music really shows up here. As always, his voice is incredible especially on Everlasting Love and Walkin' Shoes. What can I say I am biased! I have been a Cheap Trick fan since '79 and absolutely love him! Zander is God! Lisa

I have this album on tape, and it's just about wore out. Does anybody know where I can get a CD of this wonderful work? I have enjoyed this tape since the day I bought it, which happened to be the day it came out. It's a really good album with a wide variety of great music. Robin Zander is an awesome singer!

There is no telling how many Cheap Trick fans I've recruited with this CD. If you buy this one, I promise it'll never get dusty!!!

This self-titled album from Robin Zander is Awesome! Tracks like" I've always got you" and "Reactionary Girl" are such strong tracks! It took me forever to find this, but one day at Best Buy I seen it in a bargin bin. I'll say this, IT DIDN'T BELONG IN THERE!!! This album features Robins song writing at a career high point! That's of course until the self titled "Cheap Trick" album came out in 97.

Hi! I'm from Japan. I've been attracted by Robin's voice. I like REACTIONARY GIRL best. Maria McKee's voice is so cool! I guess she used to be a vocalist of LONE JUSTICE. Where've they gone? Would someone tell me? I can't know that in Japan.

The Robin Zander solo CD is amazing and one of my favorites. Like I'm sure a lot of people were, I was disappointed that the album did not do better in sales/airplay. It deserved to sell millions! It's definitely no Cheap Trick record, but it showcases Robin's voice and unique talent wonderfully. Robin, you are the greatest singer in the world! There is no one like you in music!

Where is Robin today (November 1998)?

I recently found this CD at a used CD shop, and I can only say that I cannot get enough of CT's hot front man! Not only is it NOT Cheap Trick, but I feel it is more of Robin's personal feelings (as Rick is the primary CT songwriter). Excellent CD, Robin!!

My desert island album!!!!! Truly unbelievable!!!!! Incredibly soulful!!!!! Spectacular!!!!! I spoke to Robin about the CD and he told me about the photos in the sleeve. The elderly man is Robin's father, the child is Robin's son, Robin's wife poured Robin and his father coffee, the photos are taken in the hotel where John Belushi died. If I remember correctly it is the actual bathroom and hotel room he died in as well as the pillars outside the hotel.

What a great recording this is. I don't think i've taken it out of my cd player since it came out.

i just got this cd and i think it is fantastic. i love robin's voice. all the songs are incredible, so different from his work with cheap trick. too bad this one was overlooked.

a cd that has taken a while to grow on me , i thought it was a waste of money to start with , but is now one of my most played cd`s. favorite tracks are jump into the fire & reactionary girl.my wife loves the robins version of show me heaven one of the many highlights for me is the nod to one of my all time favorite bands,free,with a sample of all right now

You guys are all right on target; when you state the FACT that IS one of the all time favorite recordings EVER. It is by far my personal favorite, sorry about that Cheap Trick! Robin not only captivates you with his musical talents, but also proves to the world just what a genius he really is! He is able to take every form of pop, rock, soul, ballads, you name the category, and comprise them into one beautiful new musical clasification all his own. Thank you Robin Zander and the rest of the group, together you guys are truely remarkable!! The best of the best!!! Too underplayed, but, loved by all true Trick fans!!! This is truly a showcase of Robin's ability!!!

This CD lives in my jeep's CD changer! One of my favorite albums. Robin has the sexiest voice in the world! My favorites are I've Always Got You (this is probably the best video I've ever seen, too) and Reactionary Girl. Also love the opening lyrics to Tell It To The World. I wish he could have included a few of the tracks that were left off, such as What's Her Name and Miss Tomorrow, both really great songs.

This is an incredibly spectacular album. One of my absolute favorites of all time. Robin has got soul, imagination and the sexiest pipes I have ever heard. Here is hoping he makes another one. Time Will Let You Know is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.

Robin Zander breaks out on his own from Cheap Trick with a verygood album of rock songs ranging from Harry Nilsson`s "Jump Intothe Fire" to beautiful melodies like "Time Will Let You Know"."Reactionary Girl" is very much a pop-type song that should havegotten air play, as was the ELO sounding "Tell It to the World".

I went to, I think the name of the used CD shop is The Last Unicorn, and wham, bam, thank you ma'am, Robin's CD!! I bought it, I love it, and I love him. Jump Into The Fire is my fave song from it-love the echo!!!! Robin may be a little guy, but he has a HELL of a voice and can he scream it out! Wow!!

Zander's solo cd is a great release. I asked him about the disappointing sales and he was obviously bothered that the cd did not sell well. Dont let this sway you. The cd is great.

Dear Robin, I can't believe I am writing this. I have been a fan FOREVER! I met you on my 40th Birthday after the cocert at the "Orbit Room" in Wyoming,Michigan. My name is also Robin. You were wonderful. I was able to meet you through a guy I ran into that worked at "Ace Music". If I'm not mistaken,Bun E.Carlos purchased drumsticks there. Anyway....During the concert I broke a small bone in my foot. I am a bit clumsy while I am watching AND listening to my fav band! (a small step in the club was the culprit!) But even with a broken foot I tracked down someone that I could talk into bringing me to meet the band! Afterwards the group of us went to the Hotel bar. I sat next to you but I didn't say a word..I don't think..lol With the group of us I was more talkative..lol I guess since I am not a groupie I just froze. I found that you are a really nice person. I will never forget that. Thank you so much! Now I am going to sound like a kid/fan/groupie. I would LOVE if I received an e-mail from you. Robin, how can i put It this way of a guy who has 1000 voices( if thats who you r known as )wow, you have an amazing voice It just wows me, every time i hear your voice It melts my heart.I mean your voice is so pure, you r to me the hancesomist guy to be alive. Every time I see you I lose my breath and I'm being dead serious about it your looks are just speechless, it's a mouth dropping experience and its every time I see you . Another thing also, I don't know why the record companies won't let it be noiced i mean they let you and cheaptrick be noiced, but not really world wide and I'm talking about yours and cheaptricks records, alot of them are not being noiced. little disapointed about that situation, but who cares yalls music is just awsome and I give you along with the band (cheaptrick) a rating of 1,000,000, now how about that. I'm looking aford going to a cheaptrick concert in may, but the problem is.... i don't or we as a family were about to get in a bad situation so chances are of me going is slim.
