The year was 1986, and Zodiac Mindwarp had just changed my life. No longer was I a snot nosed high school dork. I had been transformed into a Tattooed Beat Messiah! Thank you Mr. Mindwarp! You Rock.

My Tattooed Beat Messiah cassette is worn to the filthy little bone... I'm looking for a CD. Got one? E-mail me here at the Stratospheric Solar Skyscraper...

The tattooed beat messiah should make a comeback. I really miss him. The album is a genuine rock classic. Shame though that the fantastic b-side 'messing with my best friend's girl' is not available on CD format. Z. wrote a fantastic novel (together with Bill Drummond) but he should return to his true artform: Music!

IN MY HOMETOWN IN THE MID TO LATE 80'S, THE MAIN PASTIMES WERE DRINKING CHEAP BEER AND DRIVING AROUND LISTENING TO MUSIC. THE MAIN CASSETTES ON MY PLAY LIST WERE:ELECTRIC,BY THE CULT;EXILE ON MAIN STREET, BY THE STONES;KINGS OF THE SUN;AND ZODIAC MINDWARP. I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW MUCH I ENJOYED THAT DARNED CASSETTE UNTIL I READ THE REVIEWS AND COMMENTS.

This is one of the rockingest albums of all time. It was well written, and actually very well performed. Not bad from a guy who rides in a spaceship, cheats at cards, has a microphone/knumbchucks, and drives in an old caddy that says "To the Love Reaction" on the side. When I was in high school I somehow got a hold of a Zodiac Mindwarp sticker, and I drove around with that thing on until it finally fell off a couple of years ago. I also have the "Headbanger's Ball" that he hosted on tape. Does that make me insane? Anyway there is no better song than "Backseat Education" to crank in the car, and I even got laid to "Planet Girl" once. I slayed the king of the wolves, nothing is impossible, yaa- yaa-ya-yaa Ha-Ha-Ha!

The ultimate in tongue-in-cheek, cheesy, yet o'' so cool hard rock n'' roll. Pure fun! A college buddy of mine came up to me one day and said "Hey man, I know how much you like T Rex, so you''ll LOVE this!". I never get tired of this one!
Brilliant vivid SciFi, 70s, Sleazy, kitsch, hard rock imagery. Sometimes a little samey, occasionally a bit bland but when it's good it's downright awe inspiring - indespensable !
