Comments for O'Connor, Hazel, Smile

E-MAIL: sdavies@webtv.net
Hazel decided to take a turn on this LP. It's decidedly "middle of the road", maybe she was feeling a need to mature? Some of the songs are absolute light rock shit, the singles "Just good friends" and "Cuts too deep", and others are moderately pleasant, "Mystifies" and "Tell me a story". The albums standout tracks close each side, "Smile" is a fantastic dance rock song which shows that Hazel hasn't completely lost her spunk (yet) and her rendition of "Spancill hill" is just gorgeous. Those 2 tracks alone make the album well worth a CD release. Scott Davies 3/31/98

Hi! Could you please let me know if there is an existing version on CD of "SMILE", and where I could find it? I own the vinyl version of it and I would really appreciate to get a CD version if there is one existing. Thanx in advance for your quick reply. Matt
