Beneath the calm and uninformative cover on this lies a great album by Sun Ra and the Arkestra. It consists ofunused material and takes from the band`s two late 80`ssessions for A&M Records : "Blue Delight" and "Purple Night".The majority of this stuff is from the "Purple Night" sessionsand, like that album, is fantastic - it`s bursting with energy and wildness but at the same time has a beautifulsound to it. It`s the missing Purple Night sessions material.This is a great record - if you don`t have it yet you shouldrun out and buy it immediately.
