Comments for Sun Ra, My Brother The Wind Volume 2

Tracks 1 - 6 form an extremely impressive EPs worth of"spaced-out barbecue music", some of it amazingly loose and some of it brilliantly arranged. Tracks 2 & 4 feature vocalsby the lovely June Tyson (her first recordings with Ra, Ithink). Tracks 7 - 11 are rather abstract declamations made by Ra on a Moog synthesizer, and are described in the liner notes as a "soundtrack for Pac-Man". On the whole, quite anamazing record.
