Zillatron is a project initiated by Bootsy Collins and Bill Laswell. If any people out there reading this who also happens to love Praxis, they should never miss this disc. Zillatron (a Bootsy`s alter ego) is basically a continuation of Praxis (with Buckethead and Bernie Worrell) with Bootsy as the star of the show. The disc is a mixtureof Funk, hardcore, techno and ambient with weird dialogue samples sandwiched between excellently-crafted tunes (watch out for the samples from the movie Naked Lunch on Exterminate). Like many other works produced by Bill Laswell, this is a gem which shows the human race two things:i> a brilliant blend of different genres;ii> the talents and genius of the musicians involved.Long live zillatron.
