Comments for Bjork, Post

Bjork has expanded her eclectic style even more on her second release, and it is easily one of the best albums not only of 1995, but of the whole decade. I would argue with the listing of this album as being techno, since that would do her some injustice. Her music runs from dance to a showtune, and quite frequently lodges itself somewhere in betwee. This album is great and I highly recommend it.

wow, wow and more wow! what an amazing woman! once again, if i am forced to choose favorites, i really have only one favorite favorite on this album: "i miss you"; such an amazing song, the energy in it always makes me feel better (of course the fact that it parallels my own search for love doesn't hurt!) i never tire of hearing that scream! (on a side note, have you ever heard anything CUTER than "my spine" on the "it's oh so quiet" single; i laugh every time i hear her go 'hah!'!)--from a worshiper of the goddess known to mere mortals as BJORK

That voice! That beautiful lady! What can I say?? Bjork is reinventing the whole music scene, giving us something new. Post is much better than Debut, but Post is much more mature, I think. Highlights are Isobel, Hyperballad, I Miss You and Possibly Maybe.

Post is way better then any album I have ever heard. It's an ep, as far as I'm concerned, yet it's her second solo album, it contains many different music sytles, jazz, pop, techno, rock, and a flourish of new-age/classical. The most prominant, sounds are of techno style. Favorites are: Isobel, a lovely string arranged song by E. Deodato, ARMY OF ME, which was featured on the TANK GIRL soundtrack, and I Miss YOU, a latin/techno song. I give POST an A+, it's way better then that of Bjork's first solo album "DEBUT." Get POST.

I agree with all you cooks on this album. (The word "album" looks weird)

"Post" is amazing in that it takes what was in "Debut", and successfully expands and improves it. What is most noticeably different is that the lyrics are even better, with more emotion than previous. This relese leaves no doubt that Bjork will b one of the defining artists of this generation.
The secong best album of 1995 (after PJ Harvey)...Bjork is forging a new techno genre, andthis album is the foundation.
