Comments for Red Henry, Gravity

I heard "Atlas" on a local new music show and loved it--caught the band live and had to buy the CD. The band is a tight 3-man with a strong sound that is a cross between Rush and Bon Jovi but with an alternative edge.Complex rhythms and thoughtful lyrics combine to make this a record I listen to over and over , and find myself recommending to friends even though I don''t generally do that. My only complaint would be with the production--there are some edges that could have been smoothed over to make it an even stronger effort. Look for the hidden track, too--a very fine acoustic guitar solo lurks at the end of a weird array of studio outtakes. Check it out!

"Gravity" is the first release from this Northern Virginia trio on Blackheart Records. This alternative rock band has been compared to the likes of DaDa and King`s X.
