Comments for Sanders, Pharoah, Mesage from Home

Recording produced by Bill Laswell. I see/hear this disc as anextention of Material`s Hallucination Engine. Although the disc emphasis on jazz and African music, it sounded more like an easy listening disc. In other words, except Sander`s improvisational skills (which I have to say bared a lot of resembleness of Coltrane), the rhythm sectionlacks the intensity which H.E. offered so much. But still, entry-level jazz buff may enjoy this disc, but I`m not sure about serious Sanders fans or people who digs Bill Laswell`s production.
