Comments for Pere Ubu, 390 Degrees of Simulated Stereo

I like this a lot. It''s the true sound of the American Underground, stewing and simmering in a pile of Velvet Underground and Stooges records, along with some exotic European styled sounds thrown into the mix. A real art band, that rocks. Quite an acheivement. This record always has been, and always will be, a favorite of mine. Like all great art, it repesents its time well the same way that "Marquee Moon" and "Talking Heads ''77" do also. You must hear this.

Live recordings 1976-79. Sound quality reflects modeststandard of equipment & budget. Better stick to the studioalbums. Great title, though.
