Comments for Pere Ubu, The Tenement Year

One of their highlights. Ubu has always had its accessible side, and this just throws it into higher relief. Parts of it sound to me like Jim Jones is still trying to find his way in, but he''s fully integrated in other songs. "George Had A Hat" and "We Have the Technology" are two of their greatest things ever and the first (LP) side is their strongest since Dub Housing.

Pere Ubu`s "comeback" album. A more mainstream, but notquite, feel than the records that preceeded it.
