Comments for Booker T.& The MG's, McLemore Avenue

As you`ve probably guessed from the track listing, this is Booker T`shomage to The Beatles, an all-instrumental version af Abbey Road.The cover even has the four Booker T`s crossing a street (McLemore Ave.?)in Memphis. And, hey, it swings.

I bought his album without hearing it and I think it really grooves. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of medleys, but Booker T & the MGs certainly know how to make them work. The song Something (track 2) is fantastic and I hope George Harrison has heard this version of his song. My most favourite music purchase of late.
