Comments for BoDeans, home

Good Work (w/ the Fire In The Hole Intro) alone makes album worth owning. It also features some great ballads, but the political songs in the middle of this album weigh it down and keep it from being their best.

Most bands hit their stride on their third album. The BoDeans have have done just that with HOME, which is a good first album if your not familiar with this band. "It's good work if you can get it."

"home" is a great BoDeans disc. I think that some of their greatest songs come from this one. Beaujolais, Brand New, Sylvia, and You Don''t Get Much are to die for.

The BoDeans third effort is probably their best overall work.
